At the end of 1889 The Colonial

Surgeon notified that he

was

。 prepared

to Vascinate all Chinese gratuitously, who came to him at certain hours;

but comparatively few

availed themselves

of the privilege - probably not aware of

- its immense advantages.

It is now desired to be intimated

that the Colonial Surgeon is stitt prepared

to vaccinate all Chinese

who come to him at his residence between the hours of 11 and 12 every day except -- Sunday - He shall require

the deposit of

one dollar which shall

on

be returned on seeing that the

the Eighth day that the operation has been

successful.

the late severe epidemic which has

visited the Colony, the Chinese

inhabitants will avail themselves of the opportunity.
